synchronize settings between different installations of C1
ImplementedLike many people (probably) I use C1 on more than one computer. A macbook when I'm on assignment, and an imac when I'm in the office. I would like a simple and easy way to synchronize all settings - global C1 preferences, but also recipes, GUI layout, settings in the process tab - in short, everything. So that it no longer matters which machine I am actually using to work on my catalogs (there are many, since I tend to have one catalog per event) that I have on removable disks (mainly usb-ssd, and migrated to usb moving harddisk for older stuff).
It would work nicely for me if such a mechanism were based on icloud and automatically synchronize everything, since I don't use Windows at all. But I can imagine there are people that have mixed Mac and Windows too, or just Windows.
I could also work with having to copy a file, or the contents of a directory - and having to remember that I made a change to my settings and needing to copy it to the other machine. I know that I can already now copy recipes between machines like that (and yes, for sure I would like it a lot better if that worked the icloud way).

I have forwarded your comments and suggestions to the Product Management team.
Best regards,

As one who just have a hard drive crash, I could not vote for this one enough! I particularly miss my custom made styles.

it would be good to have built in for sure
right now it's a manual process, or automated if you have a backup app that can sync to cloud.

Jakob,
Can you please elaborate how users should send feature requests from now on, is it still via the "submit a request" link or posting here, or both? If posting here, will all requests be treated identical i.e. be forwarded to the developers or is there a preselection by you/your colleagues?
Thanks for clarification.
Regards
