Aperture Import and Tiff Metadata

When I did my Aperture Imports, a few years ago now, I made sure to start with a very clean Aperture Library, I would rebuild the Library file before importing and a few time I would even start with an empty Library (for C1 Import only), and import the working Library into it. This might be one option for you.

Another way forward would be to also install Capture One 12, and try to import the Library using Capture One 12. Then we will know if this problem is specific to one version of Capture One. If it works, then Catalog can be upgraded to Capture One 20, or you might choose to continue with Capture One 12 for a while.

I store simultaneous Capture One versions like this:

    /Applications
    /Applications/Capture One Versions
    /Applications/Capture One Versions/CaptureOne 20.0
    /Applications/Capture One Versions/CaptureOne 20.0/Capture One 20.app
    /Applications/Capture One Versions/CaptureOne 12.1.4
    /Applications/Capture One Versions/CaptureOne 12.1.4/Capture One 12.app

    Eric,

    Thank for your help.

I had the same problem with 12 and 20. I even created a 10 photo Aperture Library with CR2 images. This also would not import.

    Hello,

We are working on a software solution that will handle migration of Photos/Aperture/Lightroom libraries to CaptureOne. We set the bar quite high in terms of metadata and adjustments migration. Maybe it will be able to help.
