Add a "write" to metadata sync actions

Hi there,

 

I have 3 real life use cases for metadata sync, considering that I am working with more than one tool in parallel.

 

use case #1 - I want to unidirectionally read metadata into Capture One, e.g. getting in for the first time

= covered by "Load"

 

use case #2 - I want to bidrectionally sync metadata, e.g. for updating changes

= covered by "Sync"

 

use case #3 - I wan to unidirectionally write metadata out of Capture One, e.g. for overwriting faulty changes by another tool, and getting Capture one status back

= missing, would be the proposed "Write" sync function

 

If there might be a workaround for use case #3 already I am not aware of I would appreciate guidance.

  Hi Christian,

  Thank you for your post.

  As Capture One has a non-destructive approach, it will not apply changes to the source files by overwriting the data set in other tools.
