Lens Profile Support for Sigma 70-200 f2.8 Sport ~ 15 MONTH WAIT!?
ImplementedWaiting for a lens profile for this lens is brutal. I use this and my Sigma 35mm F1.4 ART about 85% of the time. The Sigma 35mm f1.4 ART is not automatically recognized so after every single import I have to go in and manually assign the profile. Not a big deal but every time day after day gets pretty annoying.
And the lack of support for the Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 Sport for so long is just crazy. It is not some unheard of the lens that has slid off into obscurity. When the lens was released they could not fill the demand for it. It won the EISA award for 19-20. This one bugs me every day I use the program.

Hi there,
Thank you for feedback on Capture One - this is always welcomed and encouraged among our users and we appreciate the time you've taken to contribute towards the development of the software.
I have forwarded your comments and suggestions to our Product Management team as something to consider in a future release.
Note that a similar lens profile 70-200mm F2.8 EX DG OS HSM is supported.
Here is also an article with some tips on how to work with an Unlisted Lens Profile .
Whilst we cannot comment on future releases, we take all suggestions on board and hopefully your feedback contributes towards a future version of Capture One.

Still no correction profile for Sigma 70-200/2.8 Sports? When I tested out software I also noticed issue with Sigma 35mm 1.4 Art not recognized automatically, same thing with Sigma 50mm 1.4 Art. Not going to subscribing until 70-200 Sports profile is available. It's
already been available in the Lightroom for years..0
