Focus mask setting for FujiFilm cameras

What threshold setting for the Focus Mask is recommended for FujiFilm cameras, esp. the X100V?

    Higher than the default, more into the 300-400 region. It much depends on the lens used, prime, or zoom. In general, with primes, the Focus Mask works better than with (some) zooms.

    Thanks. the X100V is fixed focal length, 35 equivalent. And the sensor's a bit larger than previous models, I believe, 26.5 MPix.

    that is good news; just experiment with a higher then default setting, as suggested; let us know if you succeed, or not.
