Time to upgrade to "V20" yet?
When V13 first came out it seemed it wasn't quite ready for prime time so I continued to use 12.1. Things got quite busy at work, so I haven't had time to do any editing in the last few months. I'm finally catching up enough to have some time for hobby and wonder what the consensus is about "V20" with the .0.4 release.
I did the early bird discount, so I have the license for it, but am not sure what the draw is. In early February I briefly used V20 when I was testing GPU performance on a new Mac Pro and 16" MBP vs. iMac Pro and 15" MBP. I noticed that it forgot all of my UI settings, but I probably just did something wrong.
For those who have updated to V20, is the pleasure worth the pain? How does it compare performance-wise? Are the features worth the effort?
(I have looked through the forum to see if this question has been asked/answered. Hope this isn't a repeat.)
Thanks,
Jonathan

I will start using CO 20 for mainstream work when V20.1 is released.

Thanks, Eric. I think I remember V12 getting pretty usable around 12.0.3. Looks like this version may need a little more time settling in.

Hi Jonathan,
It's of course a question of personal appreciation, and I won't tell you if C1 v20 is "worth the effort" or "worth the pain" (which effort or pain ?). You'll find the improvements in the release notes:
As far as I am concerned, I have been always satisfied with the new versions. Some were a big leap, some a small step.
I am using 20.0.4 and it works quite well. No bug (maybe just a small one with the slide show), fast, reliable and the well known processing quality of Capture One when compared with other s/w.
