Delete Previews?
Is there a way to delete previously generated previews (and preserve the photos)?

My concern is that some previews may have been generated with excessive resolution and thus required too much disk space. If I reduce the preview resolution, with that regenerate smaller previews?

Yes, if you set the preview size in preferences, select images and press F5 on Windows (or find it in the menu) it will regenerate. Don't set lower res than your monitor, for performance resaons, unless you absolutely have to.
