What is the difference between basic and advanced colour editor in V20 ?
I wonder what is the difference between basic and advanced colour editor in V20 when now even in the basic editor you can pick the colour from the image (that you could do in the advanced colour editor before) ? (I am a professional in music and audio and just an advanced amateur in photo and video - so I apologise for some not very advanced questions :)

I think it can be compared as follows:
Advanced editor:
- + More fine control (especially if you pull the tool out to be a floating tool and increase its size)
- + Color slices can exclude high or low saturated colors
- + Better overview especially for multiple color picks
- + User interface very similar to the Skin Tone editor
- + I am used to it :-)
Basic editor:
- + Click-drag in the Viewer can manipulate colors directly (fancy, and maybe faster for quick edits)
- - Definition of color wheel slices hidden in a modal dialog window
- o Color slices influence each other

One of the advantages of the new basic editor is that those who use only the Express versions (Sony and Fuji options specifically) now have an improved option to work with. The Advanced editor is not available to them.
If you paste your question title into the community search feature you should see, after a couple of suggestions that match the first few words of the sentence completely but are not about the Colour Editor, two or three directly related FAQ section articles on of which has links to a couple of videos (One V12 the other V20) that offer more detail about colour editor functionality.
