How to copy part of one image to another

Is there a way to copy say a face from one image and paste it into another picture?

I tried with a clone layer but doesn't work.

Any ideas?

  Hi Emilio,

  This is typically a job for Photoshop or Affinity Photo or similar. Not for Capture One, at least for the time being, as it is a development software, not aimed at making graphics.
