Date bug while tethering in v20

We're seeing a bug when tethering that alters the date stamp on files as captured. Scenario as follows:

 

1. Capture folder has existing captures from previous shoots or shoot from the same day.

2. We rename the "Next Capture Naming" for the subject we're working on next.

3. Captures with the new name end up with a date-stamp matching previous captures, and are wrong.

4. We can no longer sort captures by date, as they appear in the browser alternating with previous captures.

5. Checking the exif data with exiftool reveals the RAW file metadata is incorrect.

6. This behaviour is not happening when we do the same sequence in C1 v12

 

This setup is with a Canon 5DSR, Macbook Pro 16" and C1 v20 Build 13.0.2.19.

  Given that this is a User to User forum I would suggest that the use the "Submit a Request" feature to create a formal personalised Support Case that you can use to confer with the C1 Support Team about the apparent problem.
