Radial Gradient Mask Settings

The "Draw Mask Inside" option is not working.  Regardless of whether I check the box or not the mask is drawn on the outside.  Anyone got any clues?

  Are you checking it before using the tool?

  If you use the mask Invert facility does it in fact invert?

  I have just checked it here and it works but I'm on Windows.

  Is the file you are working on a new edit or one from an early version of C1? (I don't think that should matter but the processing engine version might.)

  If I check it before drawing the gradient it works.  If I check after I've started to draw it doesn't.  Yes, the invert facility works - I'm new to C1 and had forgotten that option!  Thanks.

  Hi Steve,

  I think you have to make the choice first. It's not something I have used often so I'm experimenting as we go.

  However is seems to me that it one has drawn the mask in the mode that one dies not want it's as easy to invert the mask as it is tick (or untick) the pre-draw selection. In fact there is a default Keyboard shortcut defined to do just that. Even better!

  Must try to remember that one.
