Ctrl + Shift to Select Compound Ranges in Catalog

Hello,

Could you please allow not only Ctrl key modifier to select multiple single images and Shift to select a range of images, but also Ctrl + Shift combination to easily select more than one range in the catalog?

This would be very convenient while working with multiple photos or arranging the albums.

As a standard behaviour of lists in any Windows software, it would be intuitive for all the users.
