Noise reduction does not work at tiff scans

Hi. Sorry I am new. Why does noise reduction not work at tiff Scans? Thanks. 

Because camera is not incluede? What alternatives are possible to do this?

  Good question. C1 does not seem to understand film noise at all.
  But even Lightroom does little unless you can accept strong softening of the image.

  Try the demo of Topaz Denoise AI.
  This can usually do a great job, but not always.
