Transferring images from catalog to catalog

Hi:

I'm new to C1 and getting lots of questions answered via the tutorials/FAQs/webinars. But I can't figure out how to transfer images from one catalog to another. I set up catalogs by year and I've got some pictures that were taken in 2020 that are in the 2019 catalog. I'd like to move them.

Is there an easy way to do it?

  I haven't done it myself but from what I remember you can export a set of images including their modifications and the same is true for the import side. What I have done myself and makes it easier. When all the images are in a folder you can actually export the whole folder as a catalog. And you can then import the whole catalog (the exported one) into your other catalog that keeps all the 2020 images.
