Make manufacturer’s profile the default for lens corrections
I’m trying to figure out if it’s possible to make Capture One default to using the manufacturer’s profile for all lens corrections. With my Fuji xt2 + 16-55 mm, all my wide angle shots are cropped aggressively when C1’s own profile is applied.
Based on my testing, I would prefer to have Fuji‘s profiles applied over C1’s almost 100% of the time. I have no need for the sharpness falloff corrections available with C1’s profile (C1’s sets them to zero by default anyway). I know it’s possible to change this manually and then batch copy/apply to all photos, but if I ever need to fully reset a photo, this will be undone.
I don’t find lens corrections to be an enjoyable or meaningful aspect of my photography, and am quite satisfied for them to be dealt with automatically by Fuji. What I don’t want is to have disparity between my images as shot and the editing software’s interpretation of what my framing should be.

I agree with you on this problem. I think it's impossible to use presets on lenses with variable focal length. So It would be just perfect to keep the 'manufacturer's profile' as default.

I agree 100%, too.
I'd prefer Fuji's profile over C1's for wideangle shots. As default I would like the same cropping for camera generated JPGs and software generated RAW.
I did not find a way to batch copy/apply manufacturer profile _and_ reset the cropping area.
