Hi.

I would like to draw attention to two phenomena that could be ordered.

1. What is done more often? Does it completely reset the tool or just for a moment. You press the round arrow more often, or maybe the alt + round arrow. Pressing the arrow (tool reset) is more destructive than pressing the alt + arrow (temporary tool reset). In my opinion, it should be the opposite - temporary tool reset is pressing the arrow, and total tool reset is pressing alt + arrow.
Just like deleting a photo from the library is pressing del, and completely removing a disk photo (more destructive) is alt + del.
Many times I accidentally reset the tool completely, although I only wanted to see before and after.

It should be rule - more destructive = harder steps (alt+click), less destructive (temporary destructive) = lighter steps (only click)

2. In my opinion, tools that work globally (such as lens adjustment) should only be available on the basic layer. For additional layers only tools with masking ability.

  ...and btw.

  For now - I blocked one of the pen buttons for alt key, because I have a keyboard underneath the table

  I completely agree that the frequent action (temporarily resetting a tool) should be easier to invoke than the infrequent action (permanently resetting the tool).

  I don't support filtering of tools if that would imply tools moving their position.

  Greying out tools would be fine, but there are only so few tools that only work globally that I don't think there is any urgency to mark them as unavailable when a layer is selected. C1 has so many much more important issues to address, in my view.

  Thank you for your post

  I will submit your request regarding the option to have another shortcut for resetting the individual tool's adjustments to the Product Management team.

  As for the tools, there is a brush indicator on a tool when you are working on a Layer. If there is no brush indicator, it means that this tool's adjustments would be applied only globally.
