Double-click to set layer name

Too often I click a Layer bar to activate it, then M to show/hide the mask, and  I find that I've changed the layer name to "M". An alternative fix would to require a click explicitly in the Name field to set or change it; right now, a click anywhere on the left 2/3 of the Layer bar sends keystrokes to the name field.
