Applying AUTO White Balance to a Collection
Can anyone please indicate how to apply the AUTO (or AS SHOT) white balance to all images in a collection?
If I select AUTO white balance for the first image and replicate to all images, I end up getting the first image parameters replicated, overlapping the AUTO white balance of all images.
Is there a solution to this?
Thanks,
Persio.

Persio,
Not sure if you are asking about a Camera set to Auto or using the MagicWand Auto WB icon at the White Balance tab. I'll try to answer both.
With in-camera WB set to Auto, would be set in Capture One to Shot In would then see WB as the camera captured WB. The Auto setting on any DSLR is not the best since it can be a broad range of Kelvin. Choosing another WB preset is better to get a more consistent result.
If you mean to use the Auto White Balance icon, then as you've seen, it will only Auto the 1st image and then apply the settings to other images. You may be able to get away with this if entire Session is shot consistently. In order to Auto WB each image, you will have to hit the icon or Ctrl + W for each image. Yes, this could be time consuming in a larger Session with inconsistent WB. Possibly you can Auto WB one image and select a few more to Apply to and work through in this manner.
Hope this helps you out.

kc,
Thank you for your comments.
I do mostly photojournalistic type photography, therefore the camera AUTO WB works very well with the varying lighting conditions.
My question was really how to reset all images in a collection to the camera AUTO WB, which is Capture One AS SHOT.
Is there a way to do this in a batch mode?
Thanks,
