Try disabling OpenCL for Display under Preferences > General. Restart Capture One to commit the change.

    No change.
First it appears fast but suddenly (after few minutes) the program reacts slow.
It's also in the Preferences dialog. It shows the dialog, but I've to wait some seconds to get it scrolled down to the OpenCL stuff.
Also the buttons need seconds to react on a click or I've to redo the clicks.
No change after setting OpenCL to never and restart.
For the dialogs I can say, that it shows the dialog after few seconds but CPU usage of CO is still up for many seconds. And the input is only recognized when CPU usage of CO is going down.

I had the same problem after I've updated to Windows 10 Creator's Update.

Basically, many UI components started to behave very slowly. Like, context menu when I click on thumbnail taks about 3-5 seconds to appear. Or when I click on Styles button (which I've put into the toolbar via Customization).

Like, you are about to apply a style, you click on the Styles button and then wait for 3-5 seconds for the actual menu to be seen. Very annoying.

Reverted to the Windows 10 without Creator's Update, and everything is back to normal.

Thanks for your confirmation and the info about Creators Update.
I am on this version, too.
But I'm using CO 9.3 again and there is no problem with Windows 10 Creators Update.

Are any fixes for the Creators Update in CO 10.1?

I tried both C1 10.0.2 and 10.1, and both experienced the slow UI (esp. in context menus) on Creators Update.

I think this has something to do with the new .NET Framework 4.7 shipped with Creators Update, but cannot be 100% sure.

Both are fine when I reverted back to previous Windows 10 backup, without Creators Update.

    Haven't tried C1 9.3 though.

    Same problem.

Opening Styles toolbar item on Mac takes about 1/2 second. On PC Laptop or large videocard editing PC desktop it takes 3-5 seconds to open. Very frustrating waste of time.

10.1.2 update fixed this problem for me.

Can confirm that Styles pop-up menu (when styles button is on toolbar) is fixed in 10.1.2.

The right click on image preview to bring up the context menu is still noticeably slow (1-2 seconds between clicking and showing the context menu).
