Batch Delete option?
I do a quick cull of my photos in Windows before I import to C1. I was trying to find a way to delete multiple photos on my second culling session in C1.
I tried giving the rejects a one star rating, then click 'select all' hoping all the rejects would be deleted with one click.
However, when I right click delete, just one photo at a time is removed. Kind of tedious for multiple images.
Wondering if there is a hidden function that I haven't found that would enable a batch delete of multiple images?
I thought possibly creating a smart album with one star, then deleting the album, would remove the images from the computer.

The "Edit All Selected Variants" option must be enabled in order to delete all selected variants, rather than just the primary selected variant (the one with the thick border).
Either use the use the "Toggles between edit primary and edit all selected variants" button (3 rectangles in a stack) on the toolbar, or the "Edit All Selected Variants" option in the Edit menu.

Thank you Richard - and 'poof' they're gone.
Just have to be super careful when deleting.
I gave all my keepers a color rating, so after editing, whatever is left with no color tag gets deleted.0 -

I do the same with stars (no star = rejected). 😊0 -

I was looking for this exact solve…I gotta say, although this works it IS NOT INTUITIVE ☹️
It's also not easy to figure out (in the program) how to do this.
They should make it a lot easier: select all images and click Delete, and only the primary is deleted. But CMD-Delete deletes all. Etc.
As much as I like C1P this is yet another UI approach that, I would argue, makes it overly difficult to use.0 -
It's all there I think.
In the menus etc. (Drop down File menu for example.)
Trash can icon in the menu bar. The Information text changes depending upon whether you have Multiple File selection toggle on or off.
Alternatively the safer way, for those concerned about being careful enough to work with colour tags or star ratings is to use the Trash folder. Then empty it when you are happy that nothing needs to be moved back.
Make the "Trash" folder one of your choosing rather than the default folder if you so desire. Preferably not your source folder of course ...

The Edit Multiple option opens up a lot of another functionality, not only for deleting, but also for Copy/apply, and batching operations in general.
While using modifier-keys could be an option, that then can't be used for other functionality, if that suddenly becomes a standard.0
