Resetting CaptureOne Pro
I downloaded the trial for C1 version 8 and have been testing it. I tend to be a bit curious and sometimes it gets me in a situation like this one. During one session, when I started the trial version, instead of telling it to start Pro I asked it to start DB to see what functionality was there. Now I can't get out.
I don't know if DB is the same as Pro but I don't have a PhaseOne camera and would like to be able to get back to the Pro setting where I should be, but now when I start C1 it automatically goes to DB. I thought about removing the app and then reinstalling it but I assume that there is information saved somewhere on my SSD and that doing so would only put me back where I am now. I thought about removing all of the C1 folders (if I could find them all) but since I have a licensed version of C1-7 on my system I did not want to take the chance on having to go through all of the trouble of getting another C1-7 install file downloaded and installed.
Is there any way for me to reset C1-8 so that it will again ask me which version to start? Any help would be appreciated.

It is easy to back out of the "DB mode". Start CO8 > Capture One menu > License > Deactivate > Restart CO8. It will now come back to the selection screen of modes or editions, and you can continue your trial with Pro.
DB is feature-wise same as Pro but only for Phase One/Leaf for raw file support and tethering.0 -
