    Morning, Mike,

CS 5 (or any part thereof) installs an additional Adobe RGB profile on your system, which already ships with such an ICC profile (at least in the case of Windows 7). Other imaging software might install further profiles. Capture One shows all available colour profiles in the output tab unless you switch to “recommendedâ€. e.g. I have three sRGB profiles and two Adobe RGB profiles show up in the drop-down on my work box …

It’s possible one of your two Adobe RGB profiles is wonky, or even broken. You can check what profiles are installed system-wide here:

    \Windows\system32\spool\drivers\color

Windows should ship with an Applet which lets you view and fix profiles, but as I’m not at my Windows machine right now I can’t check whether it’s installed by default.

    Cheers,
    -Sascha

Thanks Sasha for a nice explanation of why I have 2 or more aRGB ICC's in the Process Recipe.

I installed a fresh aRGB ICC from Adobe which was installed in Windows where you pointed out that it would be found.

My problem, however, remains -- ONE of the two aRGB ICC's in the Process Recipe is flaky -- I have tried using the top one and processed the same exact image in C1 and then into PS CS5 and found that perhaps 2 out of 7 images actually were in the aRGB color space, then I tried the second aRGB ICC in the Process Recipe and got the same exact results.

At this point, I am unsure of BOTH of the aRGB ICC's -- they surely are not BOTH flaky. I uninstalled Capture One 6 Pro (6.3.2) and tried an older version -- no change, and then reinstalled the latest version and again, no change.

This is really frustrating -- so I guess I will make a new posting with a new subject line and see if more users can help.

    Thanks,

    MikeSp
