macbook Pro i7
Hi i wanted to see if you are aware of the power issues with your product and the i7 macbook pros, Apple changed there power management chip in the 17" last generation and we have terrible problems using batteries ( hypermacs/juice) i know this is a third party product but the issue seems to be your end as Capture one software under heavy load seems to cause the issue, we have even seen capture one doing a batch que plugged into the mains have the battery decrease over time (4 hour batch).
Capture One 6.1- 6.3 software seems to be asking for power than the mains can handle. The UK supplier of Hypermacs Protronics was aware of the problem specifically to your software through unhappy customers, asking for advice.

Is this with a Late 2011 MBP, a 2.4 or 2.5quad as apposed to the 2.2/2.3 version. I have a few 2.3's and haven't noticed such drain. Have you tried disabling OpenCL? 0
