3.7.1 has crashed my computer
I just downloaded and attempted to install 3.7.1 and my computer has totally crashed.
The only thing I am able to do on my system is boot using safe mode (w/ w/o networking).
The reason I attempted to install 3.7.1 was because I was frustrated with 3.7 shutting down during operation for no obvious reason.
Now, I have a worse problem -- I can't use my computer except in safe mode.
I've tried the restore point to no avail (probably because C1 made my system unstable prior to the last restore point) and tried uninstalling and reinstalling C1.
I've tried to do a Windows XP Pro repair but the system hangs before I even get the option to do a repair.
Anyone else with this problem?

Sounds like a hardware failure that co-incided with a new software installation.
Something very strange there, V3.7.1 doesn't normally cause that sort of problem. If XP hangs during a repair process, it has nothing to do with C1. XP doesn't care at that stage it is only looking at its own files.
Next silly question, have you upgraded to XP SP2?
Have you tried un-installing the software in safe mode?
