Importing files and adjustments from laptop to desktop

I've just done my first shoot with the 645DF and P45+ using EIP files, but the first shots are IIQ. I hadn't heard about EIP, but discovered it when reading the manual and soon switched! Preliminary edit and adjustments were made on my laptop. Which I want to use as a starting point for my more considered PP work.

Having arrived back, I've copied all files across to my MacPro, including CaptureOne folder. I copied them into the May 10 folder along with some similar images. However when I've opened up the folder in C1Pro the adjustments I'd made previously to the IIQ files don't appear to have been brought across, the EIP files are fine. Is there a way of copying adjustments to the IIQ file images and retaining these in an existing session?

There aren't that many images and I could manually set every slider the same whilst reading from Macbook Pro, but if possible, wanted to get the computer to do the work for me.....

Yes, you can copy the adjustments you made to the IIQ files.

From the source destination (laptop), copy the the *.cos files in the <image folder>/CaptureOne/Settings50 folder along with the images and copy those *.cos files (or the entire Settings50 folder) to the destination. Of course, here they must be in the subfolder where the images reside.

The EIP solution was invented for easy of transfer. It combines the image file plus the adjustment file in one EIP file.

Have done that and also subsequently copied the Proxies across too because I could get crop info to show on main image despite it being shown on thumbnails. This seems to have recovered all the adjustments that I'd made in a very time efficient manner.

Really am very appreciative of your knowledge and preparedness to share with others.
