    1) Is there an easy way to relocate the catalogdb (currently stored in C:\Users\MyName\Pictures\Capture One Catalog) to another location?

You could probably try it out yourself. Copy (copy!) your catalog folder with all sub folders and files to a new location. You will then have two catalogs, the original C:\Users\MyName\Pictures\Capture One Catalog and a copy at say D:\Users\username\Pictures\C1-catalog or some such. Then start Capture One and open (File->Open...) the copy as your working catalog and inspect/test the problem points you expect or fear. Open your original catalog to get back to normal.

My guess is yes, I believe the previews are stored in the catalog folder structure. C1 may complain about missing originals and possibly prompt you for some action, like you pointing C1 to the originals.

    THANK you!
Did as suggested and copied the entire Capture One Catalog including its subfolders to a new location
    Then File-Open, select : Capture One.cocatalogdb

All went fine, as far as I can see.

After closing I can see that the modified date of the db in the new location is updated.

So, indeed this is the best way to do it.

    Thanks again.

Best to assume that the notifications are not functioning.
