Brushes - switch between draw and erase

It seems that in C1 v8 you can't switch between drawing and erasing a mask by holding down the Alt key. Is that a bug, or by design?

    The Alt-key has a new function. Alt+click sets the Selection Point in a layer.

    The Help still says that you can toggle between draw and erase with the Alt key. just above the heading that says change brush size and hardness.

    Unfortunately the documentation maybe wrong in this case: one will have to press “e" and “b†to switch between the Eraser and Brush staring with CO v8.

    The full list of shortcuts for layers according to their type can be seen as tooltips.
    Enable "Show selection points" in the cursor menu that contains the "Draw mask", "Erase mask" etc.. entries.
    Hover the mouse over a layer selection point (filled circle) and the tooltip with the shortcuts will be shown.
