C1 output tiffs don't show in Photomechanic
I have just purchased Photomechanic and I hope someone can help me.
I edit my raw files from my P25+ back in Capture One and process them into 16 bit tiff files.
I have always done this and the tiff images work just fine in my ACDSee image browser.
Now, in Photomechanic folder view I do get a thumbnail outline with the file name, but no image shows (grey surface). Double clicking on it also does nothing (again, the image shows fine in ACDSee - thumbnail, full size etc.).
Now when I take the image into Photoshop and save it as an 8 bit tiff, then Photomechanic shows the image normally - thumb, preview etc.
Any suggestions what to do?

Are they compressed TIF files? if so try uncompressed - Just a thought as I have had this in the past with some other software. 0 -
Thanks Kevin, no they are not compressed TIFF's.
Follow up: I asked the same question in the Camera Bits (Photomechanic) user forum.
Kirk of Camera Bits followed up with me on this and fixed the issue. He provided me with a beta to try, so that I could confirm that all was OK on my end as well. The fix will be incorporated in a next update of Photomechanic 4.6, so all is well for Phase One users of Photomechanic who may have this issue also.
I am thoroughly impressed by this show of customer consideration, WOW!0
