Unable to import from card using CO4
I've tried both 4.1 and 4.5 and neither will recognize any content on a memory card. Lightroom has no trouble, nor does ACR. I've tried copying the files to the HD and importing from there. Nada.
The import dialog opens, the word "Loading..." appears, and that's it.
Also, the back doesn't seem to be recognized by WinXP, but I don't have any experience with Firewire; I could be doing something wrong there. The Firewire card shows in Device Manager (and in 'network connections'), the back is getting power, but that's all. CO shows 'no camera attached'. Should the back also show as a device similar to how a web-cam shows?
I tried installing the driver found in <E:\Phase One\Capture One 4\Drivers\WinXP>, that resulted in a reinstall of the whole package, but nothing else.
I am obviously missing something here. I'm running WinXPSP3, with a newly bought firewire card installed.

Which camera or camera back are you using? 0 -
Hasselblad 503cw/P45. Got the firewire working, but C1 still doesn't see the files, regardless of location. The tethered capture mode delivers the file to the computer, but C1 doesn't see it from there. Have tried several locations, besides the CF card, for for importing. Also tried C 13.7.8. Same result.
Both Lightroom and ACR open the files with no troubles.

Maybe better to open a support case or contact your dealer if you not already done that. Have you tried with another computer (assuming one is available to you?).
If you can solve it through support or by any other means, would be interested to know, we can all learn from experiences like these.0
