Deletng Images from HD not working now...
I've just noticed that if I choose to delete an image it no longer deletes it from my hard drive, which it used to do.
Are you having the same 'problem'?

It is working for me using v9.1.2.
When the "Please confirm image deletion" dialog appears, are you sure that you are selecting the "Delete" button and not the "Remove Reference" or "Cancel" buttons?

Richard,
That's right, I select the 'Delete' selection.
It always used to delete the image I had selected from my hard drive, now it doesn't... very odd...0 -
Are you trying to delete from the "All Images" section or from a user album? 0 -
Same thing here, deleting the files doesn't work. The files get deleted from the catalogs, but those same pictures are still in HD. Annoying. 0 -

Both. And I can't "delete" multiple images at the same time, only one by one. If I make a selection of images, it only deletes the first one, not the all. The image(s) is only removed from the catalog, not actually from the HD like I wanna.0 -

When you are checking for the file on the HD, are you sure you are looking in the correct folder?
I once had a similar problem until I realised that I was actually looking in a backup folder 🤭 - the image file had actually been deleted from the real folder.
If you right-click on the image in CO and select "Show in Explorer" does it show the folder you were expecting?

I don't use backups, so the folder isn't the issue. I "deleted" 300+ images in Capture One and wondered why the empty space on my HD didn't increased. The all deleted images were still in HD, in their real folders.
This happened with previus version, I updated to 9.2 and haven't used it yet.0
