But only works with Sessions and not Catalogues which in my opinion is a bad move and makes it's use so much more limited.
I tried it out but as I only use catalogues I removed the application.0 -
Thank you for keeping Media Pro alive.
Installing today.
Now, if only Phase One would offer a "slim" version of Capture One (no catalog, no sessions, just the raw editor)...0 -

Richard, in my opinion - 2 programs with database is not optimal.
I think use C1 with Sessions and Media pro is the best way. But unfortunately Media Pro can't import Capture One catalog. That's really bad - you can make feature request for this like me 😄0 -
I'll do that... 😊 0 -

That would be great. I use another DAM-Software (IMatch) and when I try to open a RAW, it always start in session mode.0 -
Messes up previously entered hierarchical keywords on import. Editing capture date messes up the EXIF data. Same arrogant attitude when answering a support ticket. Total waste of time and money. 0 -
I believe, that PhaseOne has plans to merge Media Pro into Capture One Pro... And a new update for MP is a surprise for me ... [quote="syncrasy" wrote:

Phase One has never stated this publicly, even though many of us believed (or feared) that was the original intent back in 2010 when PO acquired Media Pro (Expression Media) from Microsoft. Obviously PO has integrated catalog functionality into Capture One, but after seven years the CO catalog functionality is less than ideal (you can read the CO forum to learn about the shortcomings of CO catalogs).
Today, in 2017, a Media Pro catalog is still more reliable and, and for me, more useful/flexible/streamlined (e.g., show union of folder hierarchies; create HTML galleries; edit in any RAW editor without having to create session files, etc.).0
