light merge
i,ve recently seen volvo truck shoot video on you tube. where they shoot with one light with different directions (light paint). And later they merge in software. I want to understand technique how they does.

That's a nice show case isn't it?
As far as i can tell from the video, they prepare the images in C1 and then finish the final image in Photoshop by layering them and painting in the relevant parts of the lighted pictures.
Maybe someone else can show us how to do this to the raw file in C1.0 -
Yep, that's the general way to shoot a car. It's not possible to "merge" the raw files in CaptureOne as you need to be able to work with multiple raster layers and their respective masks. Basically they're compositing for each lighting situation and masking out what is not lit. 0
