Using C1 v4 pro on a netbook?
Could or indeed is anyone using C1 successfully on a netbook sized pc like the HP2140 and Dell mini 10? Both will be getting 1366x768 screens soon I hear.....
With 1-2GB ram and an Atom 1.6 processor and reasonable HDD space would this work for C1 or Photoshop?
Support cannot help as they just quote the minimum specs but has anyone actually tried this?

i can use it my Fujitsu-Siemens laptop with 1280x768 screen
i think 1280 px wide is minmum requirement0 -
Yes, the screen should be at least 1280 wide... but the minimum specs say it should also be 800 high. That's too bad for the many many laptop users whose screen is only 768 pixels high.
For some reason, Phase One seem to have determined they really really need the extra 32 raster lines, for the sake of reducing the functionality of this product for a whole demographic segment. Just 32 lines on the screen and they couldn't find a way to accommodate it. It must've been a tough call when they were designing this product.0 -
I think fewer pixels in screen width than 1280 won't be major problem. I just ran a test in a Win7 beta machine with 1152x864 pixels. No problem where access to tools and buttons is involved. RAM and processing power might be a bottleneck on netbooks to make it useful. 0
