The list of supported Fuji cameras is here I don't see the X-T30 on it. However, my understanding is that the camera only went on sale in the last week or so, and there has been no service release of Capture One in that time bringing support for new cameras. If they are shipping it with a leaflet about Capture One, it seems a fair assumption that they will support it. (Whether they will support tethering for it I don't know. If you look at the list I inked to you will see that it is supported for some Fuji cameras and not for others.)

    Camera Support
    Fujifilm
    Fujifilm X-T30

However - Thethered shooting is not supported. Which is kind of a drag.

Ok, tethered shooting not supported but how about retrieving images from the camera?
Looks like the camera is not recognised on the MacBook Pro

Generally, Capture One won't import images directly from the camera, except for tethering which isn't supported for the X-T30 anyway. But you should be able to import directly into Capture One from a memory card using a card reader. Or you could possibly transfer images direct from the camera using Finder, then import into Capture One from the location you have put them in.

Found it, set to USB Cable connection type in the Connections settings and was able to use the Apple Image importer.
