exposure correction in C1
Can somebody explain this? In the exposure graphical diagram are the red, green and blue curves, but also the shaded grey area. Do I adjust the exposure compensation to the left and the right in order that the left and right ends of the grey shaded are is within the highlights 255 limits or do I adjust for the individual curves? What is the meaning of the grey shaede area? is this a kind of an average of the RGB curves/values? hope this is not a stupid question!

I believe the grey area is luminosity. I always thought luminosity was either the combination or average of the RGB channels, or simply a measure of how much brightness (or something). Not really sure exactly. But I'm pretty sure that's what the grey area is. 0
