folder C7 - folder c8

Good evening.
I use C1 8.1 without any problem.
I see in the folders of my PC a folder C8, but also a folder C7, > 500 M0.
Can I delete the C7 folder without problem?

  Before anybody can give you any decent advice about deleting any folder, I like to ask you to be more specific about the folder. Could you give the full path? I would like to know whether we talk about a folder in the images subfolder or about a program folder.

  It is a program folder, without pictures:
  C:\program files\phase one\Capture one 7
  C:\program files\phase one\Capture one 8

  You do not delete a program folder in Windows. You uninstall the program from Control Panel. This will clean up references in the registry, the program files and what else is necessary.

  and my differents preset will not be erased, if I uninstall C17? ( styles, workspace etc..) ?

  No, they will stay in place. They are not part of the program files but belong to the user profile.
