maybe that you have a permission conflict ! ( do you have the outputfolder on the desktop?) That C1 is not allowed to write there...

try to create the output folder inside your home directory ( USER/blabla/picturesfolder e.g. ) maybe that works !

    btw.
there is the same issue with photshop droplets on MBP and 10.4.6/.7/.8

    hmmm

try to repair the permissions anyway.. just in case

    applications/utitlities/disk utility/repair permissions

    and - just to doublecheck:
create an output folder on an external drive with "ignore owner" activatet( information-tab of the disk)

    best regards

pbler, I think you're in the wrong forum, this is the Capture One for Windows area, your advise would apply to the Mac version.

My Documents is on the Desktop... which is not always the best place to work to / from.

The best setting to have established at the Process tab is to the Set Process Folder… and check the Always process images to associated image folder
With this box checked, a folder name Develops is created within the Session folder along with the RAW images.

The simple fact about Windows platform is that it is best to keep the Process to location consistent. By checking the box to Always process images to associated image folder accomplishes this consistency well. Once processed, the folder can be renamed, copied or moved to new location with a little File Management.

If problems persist, the best solution will be to create a Support Case with detailed workflow description, system specifications, and error screenshots attached.
