Tethered Capture for Sony A7
Hi guys,
Just tried tethering my Sony A7 with C1 8.1.
Plugged the camera and tether cable in but C1 see's the Sony as a mass storage device. How do I get tethered capture going? Is there a way to just tether the capture without using the remote app?

On camera, change from storage device to PC connect (See manual) 0 -
Can I still shoot through the view finder without using remote control?
I changed it to PC but my view finder still says "connecting" for some reason. It won't let me use the shutter button.0 -

Stating the obvious, you do not run the Sony software while trying to tether to CO8? If all else fail, I suggest you create a support case to get to the bottom of it. Maybe it is a firmware issue, maybe something else. 0 -
I tried this before installing the Sony Remote software. So prior to this, I was just running C1 8.1 0 -
