    Frits,
Selecting images by clicking with the mouse with either the Shift (for a range) or Cmd (random selection) should work in CO 4.x like in CO 3.x. There is probably something wrong here, but I do not have a clue yet. Are you running on an Intel Mac with OS X 10.5.x?

Can you try to select based on star rating or color tagging (after applying rating or color tag first) to a few images and see whether that does work?
Have you upgrade from an earlier version of CO4?

    hi paul,

i am running on a intelbased mac os 10.5.x
    i installed 4.5.2
but selecting with command key won,t work.
selecting by colortag works well, but deleting them for instance doesnot work.
when i like to the delete all the red onces, the program does not delete all selected but just the first one i tagged. strange. in 3.7. it was so easy!!

    with kind regards frits

    Frits,
Applying an action in CO 4.x to a selection of image, like deleting or processing, involves the Shift-key in addition to the command or mouse click. In some instances, it requires the Option-key. The idea behind that is that you are able to apply an action to the primary selection (fat white border) and not the other selected.
Note that in CO 4.5.x you can now either "Trash" (=move to trash folder) or "Delete Permanently". See the File menu. Toggle the Option-key with the File menu open and review the effect.
