Masking and Layer issues
Hello
Since upgrading to COP 11 IO have had issues with the layers and masking. When I get around 10-15 layers on an image I find that the mask displays but I can no longer paint (add or subtract) the mask. If I create a new layer it will not allow me to draw a mask at all. The only way I have found to fix it is to restart COP. This is only temporary and soon I can no longer draw the mask and have to restart again. Sometimes the mask is displayed but will not go away. Then when I close COP it hangs.
Seems to be unstable when I have over about 10 layers on an image.

You might want to contact Phase about this by creating a Support Case and providing the information form your system so they can analyse it.

I have been getting this bug from time to time since Capture One 9 if I recall correctly. I have never bothered to report it since it gets fixed by a program restart, but yeah, this is a recurring issue. It can also happen with as little as with 4 or 5 layers I think. Thank you for reporting it if you do, though 😊0 -
Might be worth checking for temporary files that have been abandoned at the operating system level?
Random sounds like it may be could be related to old workfiles on the system.
