    Yes, it sometimes happens to me, but in the reverse direction : I want my pictures to go to the desktop, but they go to a subfolder on the desktop. I don't know if it's a bug or if it's me....

    Ah ha! Its set to desktop. I'm somewhat confused as to what the point of that File tab is though? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of the Output Location tab? Thanks for the help.

    The recipe's File tab can override the Output Location path on a per-recipe basis. So, for example, it's possible to process one JPG recipe to SessionFolder/Output/JPG, one TIF recipe to SessionFolder/Output/TIF, and one QuickProof JPG recipe to ~/Desktop without having to specify a different output location for that one recipe.
