I had a stable 7.1.3 working and thought Id update to the latest version..now all I get is a crash on start up..it did work once on at first..but now every time it crashes..where can I download version 7.1.3 so I can use C1 again ..thanks

pc is i5 AMD 7870 card ..12 gig ram

Please delete the ICOCL.bin file located in C:\ProgramData\Phase One\Capture One\ImageCore and restart CO 7.1.4. This recompiles the OpenCL binary, so it can be used with 7.1.4. The recompiling will take up to 2-3 minutes.

thanks for the reply..but Im cant find the file you mentioned...Im using windows 7....

I can find the programfiles/phaseone/capture one...but no imagecore folder...and no ICOCL.bin file in the folder of cature one ...I did a search for the file and couldn't find it either

shouldn't this stuff just work !!..without the need of a computer degree ?

    Please try this path:

    c:\ProgramData\Phase One\Capture One\ImageCore\ICOCL.bin

I don't think it requires a computer degree to delete a file 😉

However, the programdata directory is hidden by default, but if you just copy/paste the directory into an Explorer window, you can see the file, and delete it.

I have no folder called Image core in the captureone 7 folder .

my path is C:/Program Files/Phase one/capture one 7....but no folder called image core...the only reference I can see to image core is a application called "imgcoreprocess "

Didnt had a problem with C1 7.1.4, however decided to delete the file and found C1 a lot more fast and responsive. Thanks a lot for sharing this information!
