I have the same problem with RAW files from my Canon EOS 10D. Other metadata is present in processed JPEG output but the date is conspicuously missing.

Same problem here. And this is quite a big issue because I like to use calendar view in my viewing program.

Anybody else tried to post a support request on this issue? I got an error when I tried to submit the first form.

    Error !

The error has been logged and System Administrator has been notified.

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

Hope somebody at PO is reading this.

Yes let's hope so. In the meantime I just bought 40D and with that one the exif is updated correctly.

Since this is probably a low priority issue I did some googling and found a nice tool called exiftool...

    exiftool.exe -TagsFromFile 105CANON_CRW/%f.CRW -DateTimeOriginal -ThumbnailImage= -ext JPG 105Canon

Originals in 105CANON_CRW and jpegs in 105Canon directory.

and as a bonus this removes also the annoying low quality thumbnails.

    I have no problem here.

I am using Olympus e510 and process all RAW files with C1 4.0.1. When I open the developed JPG using ACDSEE 10, I saw all EXIF data, including date and time.

Yes, seems that the problem is only with Canon 300D as also 40D works fine.
