Capture 1 6 pro flattens layers on .tiff
Im newly migrate to c1pro from LR. After manipulating the .nef file using c1 pro 6.2 i process the file as a .tiff. In photoshop i further manipulated the image and then saved it as a .tiff. After that i process the same .tiff file so that i could continue my editing, however upon opening the file the 2nd time in photoshop cs4, it flattens the layers that ive created earlier.
So how do resolve this problem?

Why should you process a TIFF, after post-processing in Photoshop, again (in Capture One I assume)?
It seems you apply a LR-PS workflow to CO (Capture One). However, CO6 is a different animal from those other two. With CO6 you convert your NEF (or any other raw file) into a RGB file like a TIFF or JPEG. You can use adjustments layers in CO but these are bound to CO6 and will not be visible in the output file. Next, you can post-process the TIFF in PS, but you don't go back to CO. This back-and-forth game is common in LR-PS workflow but not for CO-PS workflow.
Resolving your problem means adjusting your workflow to CO6. After processing a raw file with CO6, you don't go back to CO6, unless you like to change CO6 adjustments and process it again to a new TIFF.0
