preview & tethered shooting

Hello, when I shoot tethered the image that is newest comes into the preview screen, regardless of what image I may be looking at. Is there a way to set it so I can view images, and not be disturbed by incoming tethered images?

  Sorry to say there is not.
  The workflow has been setup this way when most photographers prefers it this way.

  Strange, I was about to ask how I can make the latest shot become previewed. It never has worked with me and it's annoying having to manually click on the latest thumbnail every time. I'm using 3.7.5 on XP Pro SP2.

  With the wifi module this will not work indeed what is a shame ☹️
  With USB2 and firewire it should display the newest first.
