Need clarification on installing updates
I have looked through the knowledge base and here and have not been able to see a clear and definitive answer on this.
I am currently running V5 build 33255.33248 and it tells me that there the update 33841.33837 is available. As I have this installed on 2 computers right now I have no activations remaining on my account. Does one have to deactivate every time you install one of these updates. I know that on major releases we have to do this but on tweak builds is this really necessary. It simply slows the process down for me.
I just want clarification one way or the other so that I am not having to ask for an activation to be replaced on my account .

You can install a newer release of the same version (say 5.0.1 over 5.0) without being affected by activation issues. Even better, you best first deinstall the older (again, leave activation as is) and then install the newer release. This will appear activated.
Note that you can always deactivate an installation you do not need anymore, regaining an activation.0
