Tethered File Naming Issue (Count starts over adding " 1")
Tethered File Naming Issue (Count starts over adding " 1")
Specs
- MacBook Pro with 10.14.4
- Capture One Pro 12.0.3 (updated 4/19/19)
- Canon 5D Mk IV, firmware 1.1.2
- Tether Tools USB cord
Scenario
I currently have Capture One setup to utilize "Next Capture Naming" with the "Camera Counter and Name" tokens. This is exactly the same as other computers in our studio that do NOT exhibit this issue. When shooting, the images will be named with a much larger camera count number than my camera has. Example: 70891. At some point during shooting, the counter will start to reuse this number and add a " 1" to the name. In some cases this number will also count up. Examples: "70891.eip", "70891 1.eip", "70891 2.eip"
I have reset the counters and this has not had resolved the issue.
Other Notes
Another photographer was using this computer previously and this number seems more indicative of his shutter count. Is there a setup file or config that is causing issues with the counter? There have been previous versions of Capture One on this system, but I don't see them in the applications folder.
In the "Next Capture Naming" tool the "sample" name is "70885.CR2"
I am utilizing Sessions
Thanks in advance for any help.
