How to get right click with a Wacom tablet
Hello,
Thank you for your help.
When using the Brush to mask, I can set the brush using the panel we get with a right click on my mouse.
BUT, the right click is not catch if it comes from my pen or a button, if the pen is above (or touch) the tablet. It works if the pen is far from the tablet.
I tried to set "right click" on several buttons, but it doesn't help.
Have you find a work-around to use seriously your Wacom tablet?
Laurent

Hi Laurent,
Works fine for me in both Win 7 & Win 8.1 - the settings I have are having Press and Hold activated in the Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound ->Pen and Touch -> Pen Options panel and Use the Pen as right-click equivalent clicked and activated, but then in the Mapping section for the Wacom Tablet Properties make sure Windows Ink is clicked and activated.
** Forgot also to say the driver I am using is v6.3.11w3

Hi Don.
(Thank you, again!).
Well, you are right : by activating "press and hold" you simulate a right click that CO is able to cacth. 😄
It is a good workaround.
I would be happy if CO could solve this : for all applications, "right clicks" are obtained by clicking on the button on the pen (the one that you want), except in CO...
☹️
Whatever... thank you to you !

Right Click with a Wacom Pen (the normal right click button) works fine in CO. If you still can't get it to work, please submit a support-case.0 -

Hi Christian,
There seems to be quite a few issues with Windows/Wacom and C1. I have reported intermittent problems such as where "using the Fill Mask option produces a mask with a lower opacity in the fill than the original mask", "mask being drawn will suddenly complete a straight line to the image edge" and, of course, the right-click/pen button issue.
Mostly, under Win 8.1, they are intermittent issues that rely on a combination of the driver, touch-pad driver, pen options in the Control Panel and the 'Windows Ink' setting in the Wacom Driver.
I am not sure also but the only product I have Wacom issues with (photo/pixel editing) is Capture One so I really just have to adjust the pen/touch/Wacom settings until I get a combination that works.

I was also unable to invoke the brush settings menu in C1 via the Wacom until I checked Use the pen button as right-click equivalent in the Control Panel. 6.3.5-4 Wacom driver, Win8. 0 -
Hello,
I finally updated my driver to 6.3.11w3 and make sure to check "Use the pen button as right-click equivalent in the Control Panel". (it was!)
With this driver, the right click is working properly 😄
I hope this new driver will be stable enough. That was not already the case in the past... to be tested!!!
Also, I read this article on the CO blog about shortcuts that might interest Intuos users :
