Thumbnail scrambling
I'm seeing something I saw in the beta - if I scroll quickly (or sometimes, slowly) through the thumbnails in the browser, they become a scrambled pattern. This sometimes clears itself after a while, and it clears if I resize the thumbnail browser size a bit, or hide and show the browser. Anyone else seeing this, on a Mac? PPC, by the way, not Intel.

same here.
when i scroll the browser too fast both in the beta and now in the release, the thumbnails just get smeared.

Glad it's not just me. This is serious; it makes the application almost impossible to use on a folder of images. 0 -
i have found the same on a MacBook pro and usually the system crashes. 0 -
Same here. A couple other issues -
1) If zipping along too fast and selecting an image at the bottom list may result in "Loading" text appearing in the window, but the image never loads. If I change a parameter (such as adjusting exposure by .1), then it will load.
2) I have the thumbs along the right hand side, at certain point the scroll bar vanishes and I can't scroll up or down to access the out of range images. This only happens when a couple more image are in the folder vs what can be seen via the thumbs. I can see 17 thumbs, if 19 images are in the folder, odds are the scroll bar will be missing. Add a couple more files, scroll bar re-appears.
I'm using a ProMac Quad 3.0 GHz w/ 10.4.11.0 -
Hello,
Can you give us some more information? What type of Raw files are you viewing? Where are they stored?0 -
Canon .cr2 files from a 5D, stored on an internal hard drive on my G5, not the boot disk. If I scroll quickly through a batch of thirty or so photographs, the thumbnail browser becomes a mess, like this:

Sometimes it rights itself, sometimes not. It's a redraw problem of some kind; if I adjust the width of the browser slightly, everything snaps back to normal.0 -
Same problem here.

Hello,
Please create a support case and attach a screenshot of the issue as well as a system profile file. I'm wondering if it doesn't stem from a problem with the videocard?0 -

I just tried creating a support case, and received a server error; I'm sorry, but I don't have the time at the moment to jump through hoops to tell you things. If you refer to my post earlier in this thread, you'll find a link to a screenshot of the problem. My system is as follows:
G5 1.8 DP 2Gb RAM
OSX 10.4.11
I hesitate to append a system profile to this mail, but I'll gladly email you one if you like? Let me know ...0
