Our implementation time can vary depending on when a camera is released. Currently the D7000 was released when we were already scheduling our release of 5.2 so it did not make it in this version. I would suspect that it will be in the next feature update to the software, when that is I don't know but it's safe to assume its well within the next 90 days based on our past track record.

One month later, the Nikon D7000 is on sale and Capture One V5.2.1 does not support its raw files. 😕
Could you please give us a date for this support ?
(I hope that noise in high ISOs will be removed very efficiently).

Pretty clear statement from Drew in the post above yours, Corinne - especially the "within 90 days..." bit.

Yes, CO 6.0.1 supports the D7000. No CO 5 updates will surface.

Hi new user here. I've had version 5.2 for awhile and used a D200 with no problem. I recently got a Nikon D7000 and noticed it was not supported. My search found this thread and I see that I have to upgrade to version 6 to use with the D7000. Is this a paid update or is there anyway to use version 5.2 without extra expense?

You need to upgrade to CO6, either the light CO Express 6 or the full CO Pro 6. This is a paid upgrade:

I guess it will be Adobe Camera Raw for the D7000. 😭
